RUTS’ EMBLEM

The Emblem represents the Royal Foundation which RUTS is built upon. It is a circular logo under the Great Crown of Victory (Pramahapichaimongkut). Inside the circle are 8 lotus petals representing the Noble Eightfold Path (Magga 8) and the spirit of light. Encompassed by the lotus petals is the Royal Emblem depicts the Privy Seal of the Ninth Reign (Prarajcharunjakorn) or the symbol of the King Bhumibol Adulyadaj who graciously conferred the university’s name. Further out of the emblem, at both sides of the end of a strip, there are supernatural flowers that represent civility, cheer and pleasantness. The refined Emblem of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) is appreciated by all. It also symbolizes the deep concern Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) with developing vocational education and expanding the fields as the Royal vision.

RUTS’ MASCOT

No Ra Kinnaree Srivijaya is the mascot of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya with the combination of No Ra and Kinnaree. No Ra or Manora is a southern traditional dance and Kinnaree is a mythical half-humanhalf-birdcreature. No Ra Kinnaree Srivijaya wears a headdress (part of the Manora costume) and its body is Kinnaree. This represents the harmony and unity of Thai people designed by Aj Palagorn Punmanee, lecturer at faculty of Agriculture,
Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Songkhla.
